Ive noticed over the past week that there are very few people here. VERY few. SMUT needs support. Do it for the big man.
It needs some publicity. It needs to be outed.
When 106 goes national, theres also a bigger audience for SMUT remember. Any ideas how to spread the word?
For now, support your legend. We are all here for the same reason. Do it for the man that is Sean Moncrieff!

I like the idea of a bebo page. Theres not much you cant do with Bebo. However... Theres is the little matter of letting people know that SMUT exists.  ;D lol I think if 'we' (and I use that word as were all here for one thing) make the right move in the next few months, SMUT could take off alongside 106. Perhaps a section on boards could be dedicated to SMUT? Though I worry that would take away from SMUT itself. Keep the ideas flowing people. SMUT needs YOU! |

We need SMUT events. Henry could publicise them in the "What's on in conjunction with The Village of Wexford St" bit.
Nothing too fancy.
SMUT @ the pub.
SMUT @ the movies.
SMUT 5-a-side soccer. etc...
Events would be promoted on the show and thereby get some free advertising for SMUT, as well as having a bit of a laugh!

I like your ideas donnie, thing is that the show seems to be reluctant to mention SMUT for some reason.
If we can get mentioned on the show even once, thats a guaranteed at least 20 more members.
If we can get mentioned on the show, we can do all those things. I like the idea of the Bebo site as well. I will happily put one together if ideas can be put together of how to publicise it.
It all comes down to exposure and unlike todays sin, it doesnt come easily.

The show doesn't mention SMUT & it dropped the shellsuited part of my name, so since then fuck it I havn't bothered.

It wont mention SMUT because of all the knobends/the knobend who joined and basically libeled Declan Carty etc.
To be honest I can't blame them, if they're associated with this site and some eejit says something illegal/dodgy then they could get in trouble. Why would they take the risk?

I never even thought of that.  Perhaps someone could email the show and just ask what the story is and if it is possible to get a mention. It's the only way to expand. I might just go ahead with a Bebo site if no one has and objections. Please post any information you think would be relevant or useful to put on it. Again, unless everyone agrees, Ill just leave it. Would be kinda fun though ;D |
