Something we're always bombarded with everyday....tv ads.
Some are complete crap, but there are those few which are very good, for being funny, cool, or whatever.
Good ads (according to me): The Amstel ads(1492, Troy), the new AUDI RS4 ad (Black Widow Spider), The Miller Bike ad, and The Sony ad with the all the colourful bouncy balls.
Whats yours?

re the sont ad with the bouncy balls:
my mate downloaded footage of that. that is an entirely real ad. i thought it was computer technology but they REALLY let 1000's of colorful balls flow down a closed off street in san fran. my friend has footage, that some people took video footage, from inside one of the houses and the people recording are looking out the window saying "hey look their shooting that video" it looks really weird from a side view on a home video. but the ad on tele is class.
as for my favourite ad, i have a few. the amstel one was good the first time i seen it. not the 4000'th

other ads I like:
the latest drink drive ad "Just one" - since that ad i havent touched a sip and drove. must be good! (i would only ever had 2 or 3 bottles)
i HATE the ad for giving up cigarettes just beacuse they are so shabbily made and annoying
the lucozade zombie ad because i like the song (having heard it in full) and can relate to the lyrics ha ha
lifestyle ads coz they always seem to have some great up and coming band doing the music!
the budweiser ad where the horse kicks the tree with the snow
the ad with the mayfly (or some animal) that only lives for a day but makes the most of that day
em....oh feck i cant think of anymore but i know there are more. il study the oul tele 2nite and get back to ya

cheers, i just thought of something light-hearted to get us away from all the recent stuff. anyway, yea i find the cigarette ads very annoying, even tho im a non smoker, and i used to like the lucozade ad but now it's just irritating. and the lifestyle sports ads are the reason i bought the killers album and the hard-fi album. great stuff. didn't buy any lifestyle stuff tho. |

Actually i think some of RTE's ads for sport are good. ie The 6 Nations ad (present), and football ads in the past.
