So after 25 years the owners of the Stardust were "forced" to apoligise to the families of the victims. Tonight the docu-drama will air on RTE1, concluding tomorrow night.
Should they be airing it and bringing the pain back to the families? Or is it a good thing, which may force a new enquiry into the fire, which apparently was started deliberately.
Also, tomorrow night on Channel 4 there will be a Dispatches investigation into our dear old Ryanair. Wonder will it be anything like the "Father Ted" plane episode. If so then should be a good larf.

The Stardust thing is a bit morbid in my opinion. It's not the type of thing I'd be interested in watching, particularly since so many of the families involved/affected by it have such strong objections to it.
I may watch the Ryanair show on C4, but it's not something that interests me hugely. I'm curious to see if it affects Ryanair's attitudes in any way.

Think the Stardust thing may be a bit much but then again this type of thing has been done before, like Bloody Sunday and Omagh. May watch a bit of it but might be a bit morbid, as you said amz.
Regarding the Ryanair doc, again, might flick by and watch start of it to see what it's like.

top gear is the forefront of television. never copied, never equalled.
stardust programme was great. i decided against watching the stardust when i thought of the death scenes, suffocation, graphic burnt bodies, distraught families and general scenes of people, my age now, dying because of bad management in a local club. i opted against it.
sundays are depressing enough
