decided im gonna do the whold OZ thing. possibly NZ. Dad lives in Spain, mainland near Zaragoza. He said i can go over to him and wont need to spend a penny but "just survive" so i'm planning on going there first and then onto OZ and or NZ. not sure on flights from barca to Melbourne though. may have to go back to heathrow 
in a nutshell:  planning on going to melbourne in june or july, working a few months then going to Sydney for xmas and new year, staying there for a few months, saving, then feck off to Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam then back to Thailand.  *wishful thinking* ;)but i'd like to go to argentina then. dads friend lives there so he'd put me up. be it for a week or two. but money may be an issue then.
 Why post on here i hear you ask? well as im not going for a while just seeing if anyone has any advice, tips, storys, websites of interest or basically anything that may interest me.
my friend "might" be coming and i'l wait to see what his decision is. this may effect my departure date as il wait for him if he need more saving time, but, if none of my friends want to go, im going it alone. cant wait for others to halt my travels! im not travelling for anybodys elses pleaseure but mine!!!

ID DEFINITLEY RECOMMEND NZ IF ITS AN OPTION FOR YOU I SPENT THE YEAR THERE LAST YEAR, WONDERFUL PEOPLE AND EVERYTHING FROM SNOWBOARDING TOO SUNNY LITTLE ISLAND BEACHES DEPENDING WHERE YOU ARE,
IF YOUR SET ON OZ ID THINK ABOUT THE WEST COAST AND STAYING AWAY FROM COUNTY BONDI, DEPENDING ON WHAT YOUR LOOKING FOR I SUPPOSE, BUT PERSONALLY I FOUND OZZIES ARROGANT AND A BIT OF A PAIN IN THE ASS( MY APOLOGIES FOR GENERALISING TO ANY OZZIES READING)
IM CURRENTLY TRYING TO ORGANISE GETTING AWAY MYSELF. HOPING TO DO CENTRAL AND SOUTH AMERICA EARLY NEXT YEAR ALL GOING ACCORDING TO PLAN

yeah i have some really beautiful pic's of NZ and they are sunny green fields, with snow in the background! never thought i'd be snowboarding in the far east!
NZ is still an option. I would like to go to Bondai though. I hope to go there before Thailand.
Whats the story with flights. Can i get a ticket that is a rerun ticket but i don't have to pick my return date til i get over there? one thing o dont want, is a strict time limit. yes i will want to come home but i want to be able to change the date if necessary

RETURN TICKETS USUALLY LAST A FULL YEAR AND AS RETURN FLIGHTS CANT BE BOOKED MORE THAN A YEAR IN ADVANCE YOUR RETURN TRIP CAN BE MOVED AROUND RELATIVELY EASYILY OVER THE PHONE FOR A SMALL PRICE DEPENDING ON FLIGHT AVAILIBLITY AND SUCH, IF YOUR GONNA TRY STRETCH YOUR JOURNEY ANY LONGER OR ALTER YOUR ROUTE YOU CAN JUST GO ONE WAY AND KEEP MONEY TO WORK OUT THE REST OF YOUR TRIP AS YOU GO.
ONE THING TO WATCH THOUGH IS THERES ONLY ONE ROUTE FROM NZ /OZ TO SOUTH AMERICA THAT FLIES INTO SANTIAGO CHILE AND THS CAN BE BOOKED UP WELL IN ADVANCE SO MAYBE A MULTI STOP ROUND THE WORLD TICKET WOULD WORK IN TERMS OF FLEXIBILITY AND PRICE.

oh i know, i know. well i hope!
thanks for your help so far. i guess il have to go into trailfinders. i feel i am fairly handy with the auld t'interent so i was hoping to book it all myself. maybe i oculd go in and get their quote. then use it as a basis to book the flights myself and stuff.

one of my friends has gone to ozzy land with the boyfriend, they're renting a camper van and driving around Australia. Think she's then going to Thailand. whole year trip.
if you're really up for it then go sean, might be well worth it. and ya sound pretty excited already. best of luck with it anyway,
