I think the only way to solve that problem is with a swift spade to the face.
Usually shuts the moron up, or at least renders them unable to use a computer for a while.

cannot stand these. really irritates me. and yet you know for a fact it's people that also say they hate receiving them that forward them to you!!!!

Oh yes, always!
I've blocked a load of people from sending me mail because of this, so only receive them from one person now, and that's only to a mail account that I know is just full of spammy forward messages. It helps keep my (already questionable) sanity a little safer.
