"The Cold Winter"

What is the story with this whole cold winter topic?

Ok, it's been pretty cold this week, and apparently it's gonna get worse but the UK Met office says the last 8 winters have been relatively mild and may have given the impression that these are 'normal'. They say a colder winter than those of 1995/1996 is expected.

But.. the Irish Met office said the UK research is incorrect about the matter. I thought i'd mention it as the media has been making a big thing of it this week.

yea, and look at Pakistan with the earthquake aftermath, their winter is gonna be tough. My neighburs and ourselves gave old clothes and stuff to a charity thats flying out there. People can often take things for granted and become ignorant to others less fortunate.

There used to be a golf club called 'Coldwinters' near the airport, he says lightening the mood.
It's closed now, you know. Development.
