Saw harry potter last sunday..not a fan but had to go with friends who were, and it's actually quite dark. young kids would be quite scared of it.

I went to see narnia yesterday. it was quite smashing. again, kiddies might not like it, but i highly recomment *you* go see it!

Went to see it on Saturday meself, really enjoyed it. Total escapism.
Went to see Harry Potter on Thursday and it was pants in comparison. The child actors in Narnia was smashing in comparison to the Potter stars. The visual effects were great and Narnia really felt like a fairytale otherworld.
The Christian subplot was far more obvious than I remember it from the book, but I was 6 when I read that so that's probably why it went unnoticed.
Well worth the monies.
