I'm not a huge fan of Dunphy, but the others are ok.
There's one guy who does a business show on Saturday afternoons before the Saturday Sports Show, he's not the May West.
Some of Damien Kiberd's jokes fall on their ass, but at least you can laugh at him if you're not laughing with him.
You're not forced to listen to 'em all, just change the dial, but think of the alternatives, Tony Fenton? Joe Duffy? I'd rather anyone on Newstalk over them thanks.

well ray d'arcys show is quite funny.. for some reason he looks like a spa on tv but he's great on the radio. also his jokes are good on the radio!!
it just seems to be the same people writing in here all the time! is there many others who'd meet up for a drink?
any of you enter the competition for the lovely Ciara on vals day? her sis aislin sounds nice!

Nah, I didn't think they'd invite girls in to the studio for it.
I wouldn't say no though.
*rubs thighs*
I used to love Ray D'Arcy, but he got a bit boring, plus he slagged off women's rugby players so I was personally offended and our relationship was never really the same after that.
I reckon people would meet up for a pint, but it'd have to be a time and place that suited as many as possible rather than neccessarily trying to please everyone.

Ah it's just his personality I think I wouldn't let it bother me. He can be funny sometimes during the Ask the GP bit.

any of you enter the competition for the lovely Ciara on vals day? her sis aislin sounds nice! Howdey one and all, first post, its great to be part of the SMUT crew now... I have to say Declan Carthy is a bit different to all the other presenters as some of you have pointed out, some interesting features that he does, Hidden Dublin is top class and the Dublin Papers is quite good too. Overall he isnt bad....... Damo is great tho, cant understand why people dont like him, very Intelligent man, says some funny things (I think so)..... Going back to the quote above, I went in for that valentines date thing on the 2nd day.....Apologies, it was pure S***e for everyone listening as I listened back to it...here is my experience about it... myself and the guy Adrian who won it were in great form before it on the famous couch, having a beer and a laugh, the other lad (who was an asshole was as nervous as anything), I thought, ah this wont be a bother...as like we have all stood up in front of groups at College/Work and gave presentations, so this was going to be easy, just 4 lads in a room having a chat, but once Sean got talking and your faced with the mic inches from your mouth its a daunting experience, if any of us were interviewed on Radio previous to that it would have been easy... I remember walking out saying to myself, how bad was that from us all...which it was... the experience of doing it was great... If I had to do a radio interview again, I'd do it no problem at all... we were all going into the unknown and thats what killed us and the people all listening in the end. If i had of heard the lads on the first day talk I would have had a better idea of what was to come... we all failed to realise that it was a bit of laugh and not an actual INTERVIEW INTERVIEW.... if anything like it was tried again I'd say it be a similar outcome. I know everyone lashed us all out of it on the txts which is fair but I mean it was difficult.

I'm sorry I missed that now, I was in labs both afternoons and when faced with the choice between semi naked professional athletes and radio show which are you gonna pick?
(In hindsight I'd pick the radio as there's less work required)
